A large Japanese Meiji period carved ivory and bone Takarabune. The figurehead formed as the head of a Ho-ho bird. Containing the seven Gods of felicity. Decorated with dragons and mons and stained red. Raised on a carved hardwood plinth, 40cm long, 28cm high including the stand.
